After a very busy April at Higher Hacknell Farm with hundreds of lambs being born and the cows calving too. we look forward to May, when the grass and crops start growing, the cider apple orchard is in bloom, and the hedges come alive with bluebells and wild flowers. It's great to unwind and get out the barbecue now the weather is warming up. We have a great offer on our homemade organic burgers and sausages at the moment too. 2008 marks our 20th year of farming organically at Higher Hacknell Farm. where we have been producing quality organic beef, organic lamb and organic chicken in the heart of Devon since 1988. The organic meat is slaughtered locally and brought back to the farm butchery for hanging and cutting to your requirements.
