Our organic pork is not only free range but reared to Soil Association standards
You can really taste the difference with organic free range pork. Superb taste, fantastic crackling and proper sausages! Our Plain pork and herby sausages were prize winners at the Taste of the West Food Awards. All are handmade here in the farm butchery to our own recipes. We don’t use any preservatives or additives in our sausages, so you can taste the full flavour of the superb meat. The bacon and gammon is dry cured and won't disappear when you fry it or ooze with strange white liquid!
Our organic pork is not only free range but reared to Soil Association standards guaranteeing the highest welfare system. It comes from Duroc cross Large white pigs, as well as some Gloucester Old Spots. All the pork, bacon and sausages are butchered and made in the Higher Hacknell Farm butchery and are fully traceable from start to finish. Ask our Higher Hacknell butcher for any cut and even if it's not listed below, i'm sure we will be able to help.
