They’ve not only achieved a ‘Gold’, but have made it to the final round of judging where the overall champion of the class will be chosen. It’s great to receive this accolade as we think it’s important that our produce is judged by the professionals against the very best food in the Westcountry. So when we say Higher Hacknell Farm produces the finest quality organic meat with genuine provenance and organic authenticity, it’s official!
So what are ‘koftas’ and how do you cook them? We’ve done the preparation, our lovely organic lamb is minced and combined with fresh garlic, paprika and various herbs and spices which we grind and blend here to make our recipe totally unique. We’ve packed them full of flavour, so all you need to do is toast some pitta bread, toss Higher Hacknell organic salad leaves, and some yoghurt with chopped fresh mint on the side. Perfect for an al fresco lunch or summer party!
